Auditions
Thank you for your interest in joining us! We're excited to hear you sing.
Step 1: Choose Your Vocal Part
When you’re ready, scroll down and click on the vocal part you'd like to audition for.
Each part includes:
A copy of the sheet music - the required section is highlighted.
Learning track – your vocal line is prominent in the mix to help you learn your part.
Recording track – your vocal line is muted, leaving the other parts audible for you to sing along with.
Step 2: Prepare Your Audition
Use the sheet music and learning track to learn the highlighted section of the score.
When you're ready:
Play the recording track.
Sing the highlighted section along with the track.
Record your performance as either:
A video, or
An audio recording
Using your phone to record is absolutely fine.
Step 3: Send Your Audition
Send your recording via WhatsApp to Emmaon 07769 706714, including:
your full name
the part you've auditioned for
your vocal range (for example F3–F5) - if you're not sure what your range is, this YouTube videois an easy way to find out.
What Happens Next?
We'll listen to your audition and get back to you within 48 hours.
Please note that if you are offered a place in the choir, your final section placement will depend both on your audition and on availability within each vocal section.

Absolutely! Send the recording you're happiest with.

Choose the part that feels most comfortable for you. If needed, we may suggest a different section after listening to your audition.

Yes! If you genuinely feel comfortable singing more than one part, you're welcome to submit recordings for each.

We're looking for accurate pitching, a pleasant tone, musicality and your potential to blend well within the choir. In addition, we are looking for dynamics and phrasing.
